Join us Business Development Manager in building our Pharma & Healthcare unit from the ground up and making it a landmark success! Your primary mission will be the flawless and timely coordination of our clients' high-value pharma shipments, ensuring a seamless logistical process within a robust GDP-certified environment. As the main point of contact for clients, you will collaborate closely with the Pharma logistics team to expand our pharma client portfolio. In addition to nurturing existing clients, you will be responsible for reaching out to new partners and developing our pharma logistics services.

Your Role as a Business Development Manager:

Coordinate high-value pharma shipments from start to finish.
Serve as the primary contact for clients, ensuring a smooth logistical process.
Collaborate with the Pharma logistics team to grow the client portfolio.
Develop new partnerships and enhance our pharma logistics offerings.
Work under commercial targets in an independent manner.
Engage with partners to understand their pharmaceutical logistics needs and collaborate with the product team on new services.

Functie-eisen

Requirements for the Business Development Manager:
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a commercial freight forwarding environment or knowledge of pharmaceutical logistics.
• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, international business management, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of corporate financials (costs, loss, profit, buy-ins).
• Excellent proficiency in Dutch and English, with strong intercultural communication skills.
• Eagerness to learn and stay updated with industry trends.
• Flexibility to handle escalations outside of working hours and support colleagues during absences or peak times.
• Service-oriented, strong communicator, ready to meet the demands of high-profile clients.
• Proven experience in managing a client portfolio while developing new business opportunities.
