The experienced Warehouse Operations Manager handles the processes involved in a supply chain, liaising with a variety of parties. He/she coordinate processes to Ensure customer satisfaction. It is also required an awareness of and strategic response to external influences, such as legislation etc. The role of this manager within logistics will involve transportation, stock control, warehousing, and ensuring structures are in place to monitor the flow of goods and materials. IT plays a key part within the logistics field in forecasting increasingly complex systems of stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and performance evaluation.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities of the experienced Warehouse Operations Manager:

Monitoring the quality, quantity, cost and efficiency of the movement and storage of goods
Coordinating and controlling the order cycle and associated information systems
Analysing data to monitor performance and plan improvements and demand
Allocating and managing staff resources according to changing needs
Liaising and negotiating with customers and suppliers
Developing business by gaining new contracts, analysing logistical problems, and producing new solution implementing health and safety procedures
Managing staff training issues.
The Warehouse Operations Manager is a motivator to other members of the team.
Establish and manage a sustainable logistics policy in supply and demand management and freight management. Leverage logistics suppliers across all business units to benefit the overall corporation
Provide leadership and a high level of professionalism in carrying out the goals of the department, division, and corporation.
Identify key performance indicators for on-time delivery performance, forecasting accuracy, inventory, customer service as related to Logistics management and inventory turns.
Provide sound analytical support for projects, new business opportunities, and proposals. Identify utilization inefficiencies and cost reductions with improved material flow and potential solutions and implementation.
Develop and document processes and procedures concerned with inbound material flow and outbound finished product distributions.

-Details: It will be for a specific client, which is a large manufacturing company supplying the automotive industry. Requested by a client to supervise the operation on the mezzanine. Must come from a manufacturing background and have quality control experience.
